Ninh Binh province has seen positive outlooks in investment attraction thanks to its efforts to improve the local business and investment climate and provincial competitiveness index (PCI) in a bid to attract strategic projects.

Building synchronic infrastructure, improving the quality of workforce, and creating a favourable investment climate are important factors that help Ninh Binh's economy gains important outcomes in the past years.

Though it has improved its management and governance and administrative reform, Ninh Binh's provincial competitiveness index (PCI) in 2021 remains low without improvement in the ranking as compared to the previous year. Having defined enhancing the competitiveness edge as one of the most important tasks, local authorities have taken solutions to improve the province's business and investment climate and PCI in the coming time.

Do Nhat Hoang, head of the Foreign Investment Agency under the Ministry of Planning and Investment, has underlined the need for Vietnam to further improve its investment environment in order to attract more Japanese businesses.

Over years, Ninh Binh has worked to improve administrative procedures, implement numerous measures to improve the business climate and elevate its PCI index in response to Government Resolution No 19/NQ-CP

Officials from the Overseas Vietnamese investment promotion bureau paid a working visit to the northern province of Ninh Binh to survey investment climate on November 6.
